Welcome to the Tropical Rainforest! Some things you should know about the Tropical Rainforest is the climate is very humid due to all the rainfall it gets. It has lots of rain because it is very hot and wet in the Tropical Rainforest. The average temperature is 77 degrees Fahrenheit and the temperature never drops less then 64 degrees Fahrenheit. Luckily the plants in the Tropical Rainforest have adapted to the small amount of sunlight they get, due to the canopy. The canopy layer typically blocks the sunlight, creating a dark forest floor where vegetation is scarce. The plants do very well in a moist environment with a lot of rainfall. One of the most important plants in the Tropical Rainforest is the Bambusa Tulda. Bambusa Tulda is important because it can reduce soil erosion, it sucks up water from heavy rains that might cause flooding, it also provides shelter for many animals. Some animals that live in the Tropical Rainforest are amphibians because it provides wetlands and small ponds for them to survive in, including alligators. Some other animals are anacondas, apes, monkeys, chimpanzees and also orangutans. The Tropical Rainforest is one of the most amazing places you may ever go studies show.
