Our Biome is called a Savanna.
The is a tropical habitat. In between a dessert and a Rainforest. Savannas are dominated by grass. The Savanna comes from a Spanish word called Zavanna. During dry seasons lighting causes forest fires. Rainy seasons are followed by droughts. The animals in the Savanna are zebras, wildebeests, and large herds of antelope. The predators are lions, cheetahs, hyenas. Annual rainfalls on most savanna ranges from 76to100 cm (30 to 40 inches)
